New season clean linseed straw.
This is superior to pea straw as a long term mulch when establishing shrubs or trees. The straw is very fibrous and takes 2 to 3 years to start breaking down giving great weed suppression and conserving moisture. The attached photo shows a shrubbery established over two years ago with only one application of linseed straw.
The bales are 5' long and 3' square. This is a good size as a large area can be laid in a short time, like laying tiles. The bales weigh approx 250kg (10 small bale equivalents).

Price includes loading. Bales located at Alpine Fresh Ltd, Levels, Timaru. Delivery can be arranged at additional charge. Delivery to Christchurch or Oamaru is $100 for 10 bales. Price to deliver to Dunedin is $200 for 10 bales. In all cases purchaser needs to arrange either forklift or front end loader to unload truck.
