These adirondack chairs are made by LastPost in my Waterview studio using NZ grown cedar and up-cycled jarrah.

These timbers are naturally durable so they need no surface or chemical treatment. The chairs will go silver-grey in the weather and need no maintenance.

There are other adirondack or cape cod chairs available, and LastPost may cost more. Why?

All LastPost furniture is environmentally friendly - I do not use chemically treated timber like tanalised pine. These timbers are more expensive than treated timber.

LastPost chairs are already fine sanded with 120 grit sandpaper - you don't need to do anything other than sit in it, in the sun, with a g&t placed on the "made for it" arms.

LastPost chairs carefully match design and comfort so that they not only invite you to sit and spend some time, but they look fabulous just by themselves.

Stainless steel screws and waterproof PVA glue fasten the chairs together.
