Neoregelia 'Exotica Imperial':
A new hybrid from Andrew Steens exotica range of bromeliads. This is the largest, most colourful Neoregelia you'll ever see! As a juvenile plant the leaves are a combination of spots and stripes (as per the inset). As it matures, the rosette flattens out and flushes a brilliant red. The plant in the photo is over a metre across. A real show-stopper!
Large and impressive rosettes up to 50cm H x 1 metre W. Intricately marked with red spots and stripes. At flowering the colouring intensifies, flushing the whole plant scarlet red. Prefers bright light to bring out red leaf colour. Can take slight frosts.
You are bidding on a large bare root pup, which will take approx 12-18 months to grow into the plant pictured. Just plant in free draining soil or potting mix.
