Lavender hidcote is highly scented compact lavender. Flowers are rich purple colour. Plants are compact, stay tidy and grow to about 30-40 cm tall and wide. Lavenders are highly attractive to bees.
These colourful perennials do well in most sites and enjoy sunny, well-drained fertile sites. They are hardy.
Flowers are on stems around 25-30 cm tall.
They are excellent landscape plants when planted along pathways or edging the garden.
They do well in pots and containers or hanging baskets as well as the garden. They are drought tolerant.
