Metrosideros Umbellata - Southern Rata - With leathery lance shaped leaves and vivid red flowers in summer this makes a stunning feature tree. A cold climate relative to pohutukawa, but able to withstand frosts. Being a slower grower this needs very little care, attention or pruning. As these are cutting grown specimens they have already started flowering and will put a spectacular display every Christmas. Mature Height 10m
