This Auction is for 1 bag of Organic Tobacco Seeds. The bag contains 1 teaspoon of Organic Tobacco Seeds and 1 level teaspoon is equal to 30,000 seeds.

I originally purchased the seeds as "Organic Tobacco Seeds" but I have found out after growing 5 crops that the taste is similar to the Park Drive brand (orange & yellow) that my husband used to smoke.

The photos show you the stages, you can see I sprinkled far too many seeds in one of my attempts in the seedling tray and it's chocka. The seeds are tiny and it's deceiving when you are sprinkling them on top of the seedling mix. I have a photo of after I have taken them from the seedling tray and put as many as I could in a big pot, just so I can get them big enough to plant out in the garden, or as you can see from one of the photo's, by the side of the house. I used all sorts of plastic containers to start the seeds off, it doesn't have to be an expensive seedling tray, the cake containers or deep meat plastic containers from the supermarket are ok to use and free. There is also photos of the dried leaves in a Laundry basket and also one showing when I cut out the middle core of the dried leaf and I put it through the blender and just pulsed it a few times, till you reach the desired size to roll.

After plucking some of the bottom leaves, we 1st dried ours laying them on an old sheet in the garage but now hang them up separately on a string. Drying time depends on the weather and how warm it is where you are drying them. You may find your own way of drying, there are so many ways and reading other growers hints on the net also gives you many ideas.
