Normalises liver function, blood and overall health.

Burdock root has many nutrients, including vitamins A, B2, Niacin, vitamin C, E and P, and minerals Iron, Calcium, Copper, Iodine, Silicon, Sulphur and Zinc. They are 12% protein and 70% carbohydrate.

Burdock can be cooked as a root vegetable, and the flower stem can be peeled and lightly steamed.

Sow Spring, directly into rich, free draining soil. Likes full sun/partial shade. Allow at least 60cm for space.
