Shiitake 75 is a variety of Shiitake mushroom. The 75 is the easiest of all shiitake mushrooms to grow. The cap sizes are inconsistent which makes them a non commercial variety but for the beginner they will give you large crops with little maintenance. They will grow on most hardwood logs deciduous and evergreen. This auction is for 40 inoculated wood dowels enough to inoculate 1X1 metre by 75-150mm diametre logs. All instruction will be provided and you are welcome to contact me for more advice if needed. Shiitake mushrooms are a very good beginner mushroom for anyone wanting to get into this interesting hobby. There is no reason growing mushrooms cant become part of your garden and provide you with sustainable produce if managed properly.
