Melons Selection (Spray free)

This auction is for your choice of any three packets of the following melon seeds collected from spray free plants. Each separately packed and labeled and contains 10 or more seeds.

* Bottle gourd (Lagenaria siceraria)
Ear or carve! This ancient vegetable has been grown since pre-historic times.

* Butternut squash (Cucurbita moshata)
Prolific squash with elongated neck. Produces much more than pumpkin, and is more disease resistant.

* Cantaloupe, Rockmelon (Cucumis melo)
The melons are slightly round oval in shape and coarsely netted. The thick orange flesh has a nice sweet muskmelon taste.

* Rouge melon
Similar to rockmelon, except the flesh is deeper orange. Has a stronger flavour.

* Honeydew melon "Supersweet" (Cucumis melo)
This variety has sweet juicy green flesh with cream skin.

* Heirloom Honeydew melon "Canary Yellow" (Cucumis melo)
This heirloom variety has sweet juicy white flesh with bright yellow.

* Prince melon (green derishi)
Looks like a rockmelon but the flesh is green and slightly crunchy.

* Pumpkin (Cucurbita pepo)
Pumpin grows as a climber or rambler. Easy to grow. Sweet orange flesh.

* Spaghetti melon (Cucurbita pepo)
Spaghetti melon is hardier & usually grown as a winter melon. This is the speckled skin variety that produces a lot of white 'spaghetti' flesh.

* Winter melon (Benincasa hispida)
Nutrituous long keeping melon, grown for its white colour flesh used a lot in Chinese cooking. Also known as Dung gua.

Cheaper than bidding on the individual auctions.

If you can grow pumpkin, you can grow any of these melons!
