This auction is for one packet of Capsicum annuum var annuum (Sweet Banana chilly) seeds. Contains 15 or more seeds.
This mild chilly is normally picked and eaten at the yellow-green stage. Having thick walls that hold their shape well when cooked, it is excellent for stuffing. If left to ripen fully, it will turn bright red.
The left picture shows red ripe chillies, and the picture on the right is the yellow-green stage.
* Annual in colder climes, or short lived perennial in warmer climes.
* Prolific producer.
Alternate spellings: chille, chillie, chillies, chilli
