Mexican coriander is a biennal plant that can reach up to 1-1.5 ft (30-45 cm) tall. Leaves are dried and used as a culinary herb in South-East Asia and other parts of the world. Roots and leaves are also sometimes used in tea.
This plant is interesting in warm areas where the true coriander (Coriandrum sativum) won't properly grow because of the heat. Moreover, the dry leaves of Eryngium foetidum keep well their colour and aroma.
