Description
Unique white patty pan scallop squash which features smooth, disc-shaped squash with scalloped edges and white-green rinds. They look like pale green flying saucers that turn white as they mature. A great producer, from early season to frost, the squashes are typically about 12cm in diameter. The flesh is very finely fine grained, white in colour and features a very rich, tasty flavour. This squash variety is best when picked at a small size and is wonderful fresh, stirfried, steamed or baked. Great for pickles or in any zucchini recipe.
Features a bush-type growth habit which makes it an excellent squash variety for vegetable plots where space is limited, for use in greenhouses or planter bags.
Plant in sunny location in rich, well-drained soil.
An outstanding easy-to grow summer squash. For continued harvest, pick fruit regularly when young.
Matures very early - only 50 days! Allow 1m between plants. (10 seeds).
Instructions included - I'm happy to combine postage so see if I can tempt you .................
