Pepino Dulce Solanum muricatum

These cute Pepino's are great grown in container on the deck where you can expect masses of flowers and fruit .The plants need night temperatures of at least 18 degrees for the fruit to set fruit- so in some places it is better to grow them in tunnel or hot houses. They are self pollinating. The plants grow as a small shrub reaching 1 metre in height. The fruit have a pretty unique 2 toned coloured skin that is coloured white-cream with violet stripes markings. Pepino's are really tasty and sweet to taste. This pack contains 6 seeds.
