What is heat sealing?

Using a heat sealer (approx $20 off trade me) you seal the balloon closed using heat. HOWEVER I have just tried a DIY method which has worked PERFECTLY!

All you need is a balloon pump $8.50 from the warehouse and a curling iron, hair straightner, or iron. I personally used the Hair Straightener.

Simple fill the balloon with air using the balloon pump then pinch the end to keep air in - using your chosen heat source apply the heat to the valve of the balloon ensuring no creases and hold for 2 seconds. Your all done!!!!

There was a little colour on my straightening irons from the balloon but with a quick wipe with a cloth whilst still warm it has completely removed! And my daughter loves it!

Why does it need heat sealing?

Heat sealing the balloon ensures very little if any air is released allowing the balloon to last so much longer!! Will last weeks!
