Recording is in AVI format, resolution is 640x480 pixels for 30 seconds. If motion continues the recording gets extended to a maximum of 2hours.

As soon as the card is full, the older files get overwritten, so that the most recent recordings are always available.

If you want to check, you connect the MCT-302 Mini DV Security Camera to your computer with the the USB cable provided. With Windows Media Player you can view and store the recordings, all marked with a time stamp and use as proof.

Even in full darkness motion recognition and black and white recording in a range up to 6m is possible because of the IR-LEDs.

Very easy installation: just position the device to monitor the rooms or areas you want to keep an eye on or which are of minimal supervision, like aisles or offices or till areas.

Note: this device is not suitable for external applications or filming through glass.
