Description: Very detailed and large bronzetone brooch featuring a climbing frog.

Marked: JJ and the copyright symbol
The company was founded about 1935 by Abraham Lisker. The firm discontinued operations during WWII. After the war, Lisker restarted the company renaming the firm Jonette Jewelry Co. JJ costume jewellery consists primarily of figural and novelty pins. Christmas pins are another JJ specialty. JJ jewellery is marked J.J. with a copyright symbol preceding the initials. JJ went out of business in 2006.
