Hand carved wooden jewelery box

This is a beautifully hand-crafted original piece of wood work. Made by a village artisan family of Orissa (a state in India), this is a conversation starter in a modern home!

Design depicts two peacocks and geometric patterns crafted using knives and filled in with long-lasting natural dyes.

The box has one single drawer at the top and two drawers at the bottom. Metal clasp at the front panel holds the drawers together.

We bought this in a specialist Indian craft shop to support the artisan family displaying their works. Now, this needs to go to make place for other things!

Measurements: 17 cm (W) X 14 cm (D) X 12.5 cm (H)
