This amazing item is a US Air Force surplus ring featuring a big and beautiful synthetic ruby (a bit lighter than the photo shows) in an oval cut (12mm x 10mm). A really eye-catching ring. Set in a very sturdy band that is a robust wear everyday ring. Weighs 20 grams!

The metal core of this ring is jewellers metal to which a 100ml thick coating of genuine 14k gold has been bonded at the molecular level. This means that it lasts and wears just like real gold, because the outer part getting the wear is real gold.
