This is an absolutely beautiful ring in a distinctly antique style, featuring beautiful filigree work and an emerald cut 1ct simulated sapphire in a gorgeous dark blue. The simulated sapphire is flush set in a rubover style, neauring 8mm across, and the overall setting measures a total of 2cm across. This is a unique piece but representative of a typical estate style womens ring of the early Victorian period. The workmanship in this is absolutely exquisite and it would take an expert to differentiate it from the orignal piece after which it was modelled! The setting and band of the ring are heavily layered with genuine 18 carat white gold, applied through a heat bonding process for durability. This is a size 11 (X), so measures aprox 21mm across the inside of the band. It is brand new and would make a gorgeous gift so have fun bidding, and even more fun showing it off!
