French Continental Silver Key Wind Open Face Pocket Watch - Circa 1885

Excellent Working Condition for its age!! Kept under 2mins when tested over 24 hours and is in excellent condition apart from some restoration to the dial at 11 and to the edge at 2, some solder repair noticeable on the inside of the back cover and the inner cover hing is broken, all as seen in the pictures. The inner cover still clicks firmly in place and is only noticeable when opened. This is a continental silver key wind open face pocket watch. The 24 hour white enamel dial has hourly applied arabic numerals with a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock, and beautiful filigree hands. A clean glass crystal covers the dial. The two tone continental silver case has swiss hallmarks and is stamped "0.800" on both covers, it is decorated engine turning and a stunning vacant cartouche to the rear. It is fitted with a key wind, 10 jewel, swiss bar movement with a cylinder escapement. Comes with a key!!
