This auction is to secure the final place in the Survivor Scooter 5 challenge & includes:

The Challenge. To take a road legal 50cc scooter to places no scooter has been before, have one hell of a trip & raise funds for charity.

The Ride. 4 days in total, exploring some of the 'Top of the South's' great tracks and locations, starting from Hanmer Springs. While some open road sections are required to connect the special stages, most of the route will be traversing dirt roads and 4wd tracks, with a few sections that don't even count as roads!

What to expect. This is no fully-catered, hold-your-hand, quiet weekend! Budget accommodation is supplied & while there will be support vehicles, this trip should be seen as a group of like-minded people doing it the hard way. Making it to the end in one piece will require a 'pitch-in to help each other' attitude, from helping serve up meals to lifting scooters across rivers. The more you put in the more you'll get out of it.

...and if taking 50cc scooters into the wilds of NZ isn't enough, special challenge events along the way will add to the mayhem!

Scooter. - Total Oil The winner of this auction will be provided usage of a brand new scooter for the duration of the trip (it's not a keeper). This scooter has been very kindly supplied by TOTAL OIL.

Entry. Due to logistics this event is limited to 24 riders. Winning this auction will secure the final place for the 2015 event. Entrants must have a car or motorcycle licence and be reasonably fit.

You will need to: GET to Hanmer Springs by 6pm Tue 17 Feb & organise transport home from Nelson on the Sunday 22 Feb. PAY for your evening meals & any extras not included (Breakfast / Lunch). BRING suitable riding attire. HAVE a great sense of humour & a willingness to push yourself
