You know how sometimes you see a pile of popsicle sticks and decide to build an ark out of them? Yeah, I knew I wasn't the only one.

Crafted from the finest $2 shop iceblock and matchsticks, and incorporating about 20kg's of hot glue-gun glue, this Ark was born of a simple question: I wonder if I can make an Noah's Ark out of popsicle sticks? As it turns out, I can. Kind of. This won't actually keep anything remotely dry in the rain for forty days and forty nights - you may be able to use it as a flotation device though.

I didn't have a pattern to work with, so each half is not exactly the same - This was done deliberately to give it more character, and not at all because when you're gluing sticks together at 3am you sometimes aren't in the most coherent state.

The construction took a month, and was fraught with danger. I endured many glue-gun burns, and my fingers hurt the entire time from constantly cutting sticks with scissors. Also, I once got a splinter. It was pretty traumatic, but somehow I managed to find the strength to forge on.

Only to finally finish, and say to myself: "Self, what do you think you're going to do with this Ark now? There are small humans living here, and giant dogs who have no concept of personal space. This Ark will not last 10 freaking minutes in this house." Also it was more about the journey and all that jazz so it's now surplus to requirements.

Board is 650mm x 645mm. Both decks lift off so you can see inside them. Also, good place to hide your treasure. Comes with 26 pairs of animals + Noah and wife. These are made from polymer clay. I couldn't find yellow clay, so didn't make lions. Every Noah's ark has yellow lions. Except this one. That will probably haunt me forever.

I was going to set this as 'pick up only' 'cause I have no idea how it would travel, but then figured if you were willing to risk it, why not? Plus, if anything ever falls off, you can just fix it with a glue gun. Glue guns are like magical fairies sent from above to make our lives easier.
