Reluctant sale - pair of vintage leather loungers

These chairs were custom made for the previous owner in Sydney - in the style of, and virtually indistinguishable from Vico Magistretti's 675 Maralunga chair for CASSINA, italy, 1973. Maker unknown.

I had these recoloured and restored in black in november 2014 to match my Maralunga 3--seater.

Construction features timber and steel framing and black plastic feet. The seat cusions (supported by steel suspension springing) are polyurethane foam covered in full grain black leather (zipped and reversable). Back features moveable headrest that easily adjusts anywhere from low to high positions for superb comfort.

Dimensions: these are substantial chairs - wider and depper than most and very hefty indeed. 91w 88d 69h (back up) 36h (down)

Condition: excellent condition - these have been much loved by the previous Sydney owner - he had a personal label affixed under seat. Headrest folding mechanisms are faultless and a delight to use. Leather restored and recoloured, but retains vintage appeal/character creases.
