My boating days are over - A week ago this fantastic 9m boat went down at my mooring at Waiake, Torbay. It was salvaged on the same day and sitting on a trailer at Bayswater Marina.

I have spent more than $35 000 on the boat in the last 18 months - and do not have the energy to work on it again.

The seller will also get with the boat a 3.5m tender and boat accessories. A new boat canvass and shields were fitted in December....this will be refitted for the buyer, including fishfinder & GPS, gasbottles, BBQ and electric anchor and winch. I am also willing to include my mooring at Waiake, Torbay to the successful bidder - it has been refitted and serviced in February at significant cost and requires no further work for the next 3 years.

The person buying this boat will have to either recon the engine again or put a second hand Chevy engine in (around $6000). Other work will include new trim tabs and refitting the stern leg. The interior needs some TLC, but is not major.

In December 2011 the boat was sanded-down, resprayed and anti-fouled, with new trimming as well.

The person wanting to buy this boat will get it at a fraction of its worth hence the ridiculously low starting bid price, and would need to spend some money fixing her up.....
