I purchased it from the second owner who brought it in the early 70's.
In 1985 he had the motor fully rebuilt, then used it that summer, then it went into storage as his sons went to Uni.
In 2001, I discovered this boat & rescued it.
It is still on the original Trailer, note the old style guards & Hamilton Jet Logo pressed in the guards..
From when I purchased it, I have replaced , or reconditioned a lot to get it to where it is today, as follows

Reupholstered all seats & pads & new road cover.
Replaced floor, side panels & back panels.
Carburettor rebuilt.
New Starter Motor
Bearing Buddies on axles.

New Trailer Coupling 2010

New Axle & suspension ($1300.00). Dura touque axle broke in 2010 when coming back from service in Turangi..

It has a canopy, which I have never used, & only fitted it 1 time after I brought the boat . I had to soak it in a hot bath to get it to fit. Its covers over to just behind the front seats. Heavy Duty White Canvas.

Bad Things.?
-Chrome lifting off the cleats as shown.
-Hand Throttle handle broken before I owned it. Foot Throttle works perfectly well.
- keel rubbed from sitting on the beach.

Serviced every year by Turangi marine.

Genuine Reason for Selling.
Heading to the UK to work/Live.

Very sad to see it go.
Soo Much fun had, now its time for someone else to enjoy this great little boat.
But if i cant get reasonable money for it, I will put it into storage.
