I'm selling a Brand New Convex Spade 10kg anchor, if you have had trouble with you delta, CQR, Bruce or Fisherman style anchors dragging in what should be good holding bottoms then you need to look at an upgrade to the latest generation anchors such as this. The main difference between our design and the older designs is when the weight of your boat comes on, the large surface are and angled convex blade bury this hook under the bottom rather than plough across the surface. When you are set correctly and there is a lot of strain on this anchor it will sometimes bury up to 600mm below the sea bed. When compared to the older style anchors (like the Delta, Bruce etc) which have a habit of holding until they reach their max loading and then dragging across the bottom much like a farm plough moves across dirt.
