Long Stroke, Lightweight Marine Hydraulic Ram made by SEAWAY products in the UK.
Understand it was used on an America's Cup boat (possibly the "Big Boat").
Hollow Stainless Steel Rod.
Anodized Aluminium Body.
Quick release stainless steel hydraulic connectors on both ends.
See photo for some minor corrosion on aluminum part.
Looks like the end caps are threaded in. Could fairly easily be shortened by machining the cylinder and rethreading the cylinder and trimming the rod.
Has a bag marked "seal kit" attached (assume spare kit for this ram).
Body Diameter (cylinder O.D.) is 86mm
Spear/Rod Diameter is 38mm
Hole for Pin @ Cylinder End is 29mm
Length of Cylinder is ~1180mm
I can't move the rod with the quick release fittings blocking the flow, but I guess the stroke to be around 950mm... but we can check further.
