This was a Kestrel 18 Trailer Sailer which I intended converting into a Motor CruIser until health problems intervened.

The boat has been stripped of all fittings, lifted onto a flat deck trailer, Soda Blasted and painted.

The Soda Blasting revealed any imperfections in the fiberglass such as small air bubbles in the Gelcoat which were then filled before painting, resulting in a very sound and as new hull.

My plan was to raise and shorten the cabin, remove the cockpit and install a flat floor. Also attach a boarding platform with Transom for a 9.9 HP outboard. All sketches and drawings available.

The Galvanized trailer is very sound with two new commercial 8 ply tyres, Extending drawbar, Duratorque suspension and Tilt for easy recovery. New wire winch rope with Stainless Steel hook.

New Bilge pump, Fuse/Switch Box, Pump for fresh water supply, Anchor Chain & Bollard, Navigation Lights, other Yacht fittings can also go if required.

Trailer will have new W.O.F. and Rego when sold.

This will be a superb boat when finished will sleep two comfortably for overnight or enjoy heaps of room for day cruises.
