We have here over 28 tons of Ta Chiao of Taiwan built, Robert Perry designed cutter rigged yacht. Built in 1989. We have just sailed from Vanuatu, the yacht is currently lying in Opua having some maintenance work completed, will be in Tauranga from next week. New Yanmar engine and Northern lights generator recently fitted. Needs some work, for instance - internal woodwork, the dual cycle air conditioning needs servicing as does the water maker, one water tank has a leak.
