Mazda RX8 True Wet Carbon Fibre Bonnet + car 4sale

Up for grabs here is a very unique, single layer wet carbon bonnet from Japanese Tuner "Revolution"!

Also for sale is the warranted and registered RX8 that it is currently fitted to, will be sold separately. Taking expressions of interest on the car, can sell as is with 13B Renesis engine & 5 speed gearbox or without. Engine starts, runs & drives, I will be driving until it sells. condition is ok but has some dents & scratches over it, nothing major though & should mostly pop & buff out. the front bumper needs replacing & it will be supplied with a stock bonnet & 17" wheels as shown. Interior is also ok but front seats are stained & need cleaning & there is a cigarette burn hole on both front seats, otherwise its pretty tidy! Car will be perfect for a road registered race car, or I can pull the engine & install an FD3S RX7 13B-REW turbo engine etc at your cost or supply car without engine & box. This car will be priced to sell due to condition.

Unlike the usual types of "carbon" bonnets you see here in New Zealand, this is purely carbon, no fibreglass at all & is lighter than the stock RX-8 alloy bonnet! The lines are perfect and fit just the same as a stock item with correct spacing and lines etc. This will be the perfect upgrade for your street or race car if you are after saving as much weight as possible or just want to have something totally unique!

The Revolution piece is lighter than stock and incorporate 2 rows of hood vents to keep your SE3P's rotary cool (comes fitted with rain covers). The bonnet is composed of Wet Carbon Fiber and has a UV Clear Coat to keep the carbon fiber from fading due to excessive exposure to the sun.

Bad points: It has some small scratches on it & some very light damage on the front edge & left hand top corner in the gel coat but nothing a fresh coat of clear and a buff wont fix, the bonnet is structurally sound.

To purchase this bonnet new and bring it into the country you would be looking at over 3k, no dreamers or low ball offers as they will be denied!
