TrailSleeper "self-build series" blueprints are designed especially for the home or hobby welder. You will need a welder, metal saw, grinder, bench vice, tape measure and a flat surface (such as garage floor) to chalk the template.

Included in our plan sets are -
* spiral bound A3 blueprints
* full material and cut lists
* cut-out patterns for small parts
* individual part dimensions and drawings
* simple "draw on floor" layout diagrams to ensure you get everything square
* easy to follow instructions and hints to help you get the job done with ease
* suggested component suppliers and their part/stock codes

-----------------------------

This is a moderately difficult project that can be made a lot easier and faster by having the hinge brackets and hydraulic ram pivots cut by local CNC laser or plasma cutting firms instead of cutting out manually.

Will take about 3-4 weekends to complete.

Uses a single hydraulic ram, with a 600mm stroke, and a remote 12v powerpack.

Requires a flat surface at least 2.5m x 4m to chalk out the upper and lower frame templates.
