Valentine Radar Detector 1.85

Well I've been using Valentine one radar Detectors for more 15 years. I can honestly say this one has proven to be the absolute best. It is just over 1year old. It's hardware is1.85 and the firmware/software is 3.893. I will also include a bluetooth device that runs with ios (iPhone 4s and, up check Valentine 1). You can programme the V1 to the Nz police Ka band of 34.7GHz which is used here.By doing this means the V1 is not scanning the whole Ka spectrum (33.4 to 38GHz or about). Which intern TURBO chargers the V1 more than 1/3 detection range +. Basically it removes the filtering and narrows the sweep to just 200 MHz.This technology is called ban segmentation and it rocks. Also you can set the K band detection up just for the mobile camera van that run @ 24.080GHz. So your V1 pretty much mutes all the other K false alerts out. (unlike the redline detector) And yes it has POP 2 and euro mode which is basically a major sales pitch on this site but means nothing because NZ POLICE DO NOT USE IT! Just remember the older 1.8 V1's do not have ESP. (Infact I would not purchase older than the ver1.8/ firmware 3.851)....3.851 and up were the first crystal tuned units beforehand the V1's where prone to falling out of tune and not alerting. 3.851 and on can come up with an E if it detects an issue. Also to boot ALL1.8 V1's have been built to the same sensitivity, programming changes are the only difference. If you get any sensitivity difference between the units it just manufacting variants.The ESP 3.892 to 3.894 modles are a different story while sensitivity is up in A mode. V1 CONNECT is another level, this one is in excellent condition just a few minor marks on the plastic lens cover (will not and does not affect radar and laser proformance).
