I have a number of different versions of these cartridges for most models of changer fitted from 1992 to 2003 approximately

Hard to find, and often missing or stolen from the changers in the boot

You are bidding on ONE REMOVEABLE CARTRIDGE ONLY. You are NOT bidding to buy a complete cd changer. The photos of changers are to help with identification and are for reference only

The best way to be sure that I have the correct cartridge for your particular changer is to identify the changer among my photos, and then to ask me a question please. It's not worth the hassle of getting it wrong (for either of us)

There are generally 4 types of changer used over the years, and each has its own specific cartridge

1: Very early changers with green eject button, & matched to "Delta" head-unit. Not very common, & more likely to be found in early A8. These have a clear window in the front, facing outwards

2: 1996 to 2001 approx usually in Jap import A3 A4 & matched to a radio-cassette head unit marked "Audi AU-650" or "Audi AU-660". Changers marked SONY CDX-5V650 or CDX-5V651 shown on front sliding cover. Also in Jap import VW along with Mini-disc head unit

3: Slim changer with pronounced ribbed corrugations in the front cover, made by Sony. This is found equally in VW and Audi with a variety of head units. Changer model numbers on front cover include CDX-T69 or CDX-5V652. Sometimes also "Volkswagen Exclusive"

4: 1999 to 2002 approx marked simply "6-Disc" on the front cover. Matsushita or Panasonic label/number on the rear of the changer. Found in Audi fitted with early "Concert" radio-cassette head-unit, & in VW with "Gamma" head-unit
