1993 impreza converted to 4wd turbo sti
66742km when i bought it. done 74320km now so done only 7578km in 3 years its a weekend driven car
The engine was rebuilt about 5000kms previous when i bought it. According to previous owner
the following was used:
Legacy Closed deck block (cleaned and rebored), new Genuine Subaru Twin Turbo pistons
(0.5 over size) & rings, new genuine big end and main bearings, new water pump, gaskets, oil
seals etc.
The heads were reconditioned Twin Turbo legacy units and fitted with the metal head gaskets
New coils fitted as well since the rebuild. fitted new cam belt plus all the idlers & tensioner, oil
pump was stripped and fitted with new oil seals as well.
The conrods and crank are from an RA engine and the motor was also zero balanced
including the clutch
and flywheel.
Block was assembled by Barry Clunie (formally CLUNIE Automotive) ,
cylinder heads were overhauled by Flemings Cylinder Head
repairs Sockburn
new heavy duty Daiken Excedy clutch
The engine block was machined by ERS in CHCH (who also zero balanced
the entire engine as well
microtech computer subaru replacement tuned for 15psi currently
Can run up to 18psi safely on 98 octane
Front Diff is a mechanical ATS plate type LSD (noisy at low turning speed)
sti v3 gearbox
sti 4 piston brakes front
sti engine mounts
sti VF24 turbo
legacy water intercooler
greddy profec2 boost controller
2.5 inch exhaust
jasma muffler
cusco top and bottom strut braces
bilstein adjustable suspension
all certed
got compression test done june 09 all good see pre inspection some minor oil leaks oil does not leak onto ground.
