2006 Chinese 125cc pit bike Photos to Come We are selling our kids pit bike that we have had since new. Although it has the Thumpstar Stickers it is a copy. Having said that it is a good copy and has the billet aluminium frame and swing arm. The bike has caused us no problems. It is still on its 1st set of tires! I replaced the original “trials” tires straight away, you can have those also. Wheels are 12/10 inch. There is surface rust on the spokes but no worries there. Wheel bears are all good and so arm swing arm bearings. Disc brakes front and back. Pads are like brand new, all function well. It has a clutch and 4 gears, one down and three up. It has an IShock 260mm rear shock with preload and dampening adjustment. It comes with two springs medium and soft. This was imported from the US by me for I think about $300nz so quality shock! Front forks are sprung pretty soft and really only for kids weight not adults. It has two sets of handle bars, blue set fitted. The grips have no wear, levers are good. It comes with an extra low cut seat for the kids when smaller. We have used the bike for our kid’s occasional rides. It would suit kids from 7 through to 12 depending on size. Plastics do have a couple of cracks, I will get at those with fibre glass prior to any sale and fix, they are not visible. Engine is running well and has never missed a beat! It starts easily, first kick when cold and second when hot. No rattles or noises, valves and cam chain good. Chain and sprockets excellent. The gearing is pretty low and easy for kids to start off. There is a spare lower geared counter shaft sprocket that brings 1st gear down to walking pace. Excellent little bike and ideal for your kids, time to pass on as our kids get into bigger bikes.
