The BMW HP2 Megamoto was produced in very limited numbers between 2007 and 2010. The USA received just 106 examples and there are maybe five or so that we know of in New Zealand. The HP2 introduced the DOHC version of the venerable boxer twin, bringing new levels of smoothness and power (111hp).
The Megamoto was hand built by BMW Motorrad and features Ohlins rear suspension, Akrapovic exhaust, Marzocchi USD forks and lots of carbon fiber.
This example was sold new in South Africa and has traveled an easy 23,000km. It has carbon engine covers and Touratech hand guards fitted.
