This is the 1st bike I've ever ridden. I am a woman 5'9, but the previous owner (also a woman) was 5'4.
It is easy to ride, light and responsive. It is an older bike but why would you pay a lot of money for a bike that you do not intend to keep?! The beauty about this type of bike (say over a GN250) is that you wont out grow it too soon. I did a road trip on it from Wellington to the a Hawkes Bay, no problems at all.
The VT250F special edition is a semi-faired, sport bike first produced by Honda in 1982.
The motorcycle had a DOHC 4-valve-per-cylinder, 90-degree water-cooled V-twin engine, which significantly reduces primary vibration when compared to inline twin engines used on similar machines. The V-twin engine also allows the motorcycle to have a low centre of gravity and a low seat height.
The bike is currently registered and Warranted. It has had no problems at all with WOF.
I have had it serviced within the last year.
It has a crack on the fairing,
that makes no difference to it's performance what so ever. It was laid over whilst at a stand still by the previous owner.
I had it shipped down from Auckland to Wellington for about $300 (from memory).
I love this bike and will be sad to see it go, but it's full license time and time to get a bigger bike.
