Rare Douglas motorcycle engine

Rare Douglas Motorcycle engine. Twin Cylinder, The engine number is shown in the photos. This can be looked up on any of the Douglas web sites. The engine looks like a Douglas Ladies engine that was produced around 1915. The engine number on some web sites identifies the engine as a 1940's engine. Just looking at the engine will tell you this style is older than that. The engine has not run and needs an enthusiast to rebuild. The carb is a very sort after model, the manifold between the carb and the main manifold is not the correct one. The mag is in good condition. I have kept plugs in the engine to prevent dust getting in the cylinders. Sold in as is condition.
