1959 Ford 10 Gregory Special No. 29

This Ford 10 Special (single seater) was built in Gore by the late Gordon Gregory First registered in 1959 He competed in the car at various speed events in the Eastern Southland region including the 1962 Teretonga International meeting. In March 1962 the vehicle was sold to Lyall Martin of Dunedin. In Martin's ownership it competed at many South Island events including the Dunedin and Waimate road races,Nelson beach racing.sprints hill climbs and grass circuit meetings. I purchased the vehicle in March 1970 also competing in various Sports Car club activities in Otago and Southland. Modified Ford 10 motor (clutch and motor only Ford 10 components) Fiat Topolino front suspension and brakes including tranverse spring 4 speed Riley gear box etc A full list of specifications is available on request. Comes with a few spares Has a NZ Vintage Car Club VIC and a HRV. The vehicle is located in the Dunedin area.
Time for another custodian As the vehicle was last run in 1992 a small amount of maintenace will have to be carried out prior to a restart up
