Regretfully I have to offer this car for sale.

The body to this car was owned by Bruce Robinson & Don Zabel in California in the forties and was raced on the dry lakes and California Roadster Association dirt track racing by the late Larry Shinoda (the designer of the Corvette Stingray) There are pics of the car in the Don Montgomery Hot Rod History books.

Body
Original Model T Ford - steel framed - radiator has been pressure tested. Round Model T tank under the turtle deck. Headlight buckets and stands are there as well as a tail light. Turtledeck is a fifties era fibreglass one on a hand made box. I have proper T hinges and a latch assembly for the lid. Door has hinge and latch mechanisim.

Chassis
Hand made 4" x 2" folded channel with front cross member flattened out & rear kick up. Cross members made to look like it is attached with rivets. All TIG welded with gussets and fishplates on the joins.

Chassis is strong enough to accept a flathead V8 or a SB Chev engine if you wanted to build the car to a 50's or 60's style.

Engine
Model A Ford - recently new babbit bearings, Winfield cam, adj lifters, shaved head. Not shown are 2x Holden Strombergs & Mallory distributor & a 6cyl Falcon waterpump. (NOTE - green engine shown in some shots is available separately)

Running gear
Std Model A g/box, brakes, 19" wheels, f & r ends, strng box & h/brake.

Photos show the many hours of work spent on it.

The 2 pics of other similar cars show what was influencing this car.

Would be cool to keep it but unfortunately due to being short changed on another car - something has gotta give.

At an additional price - the car could be completed? There is not alot more to do to get it certified and complied. Finish intake, exhaust, floor, steering column mount and general wiring and engine plumbing.

Suit traditional rodder or restorer.
