Fiat 1978 X19 - 1500cc, styled by Bertone of Italy
For sale is my Fiat X1/9 - Series I with later model 1500cc engine and gearbox transplant.
This has been a fantastic car to own, WOF and Rego just expired.
The cambelt and engine reconditioning had been done just before I got the engine 24 months ago.
The engine runs but I think the head gasket is leaking. The exhaust has been partially removed due to rust (muffler is OK) and the interior has been carefully stripped for refurbishment but is 100% complete.
The X1/9 was fully dip stripped (8 years ago), rust proofed and repainted in Rosso Fiorano.
It also has aftermarket - 30mm lowering springs, Twin Weber 40mm carbs, and electronic ignition.
Complete with Cromodoras x5 (4 + spare) with wheel caps and heaps of additional spares
SPARES - rear wind screen, spare roof, single carb, armrests, wiper arms, headlights, partial loom, cam cover, ignition switch and wiper/indicator stalk, water reservoir, various plastic interior and exterior bits, badges and Haynes manual!
