Morris MM 1000 Traveller 1966

I have always loved these cars so jumped at the chance to buy one!

What was I thinking?? A young family, a new business going gangbusters and a large section to maintain means I won’t get around to restoring this wee girl anytime soon!

A very worthwhile project, these cars have heaps of character, are very usable and can fetch $20,000 fully restored!

All parts appear to be there apart from the starter motor.

Lots of work to be done, I would consider this to be a full restoration project. The good news is that all parts are easily obtained either second-hand or new. Rust in the chassis and floorpan and lots of other places.

The motor turns over by hand but obviously won’t start.

The woodwork looks to be sound and original except for the rear doors which are shot.

The Woody started life in England in 1966 and was imported in 1974.

Was originally cream in colour.

Still has the plates but the rego is dead. Was last registered in 1992
