The engine was rebuilt in 2003. It is a 280z (L28) block and has been bored. (Have receipts) We have receipts for the engine work from the previous owner, a Nissan mechanic. The Carbs are remanufactured 240z SU’s. The carbs on it were larger and thirsty, hence the de-tune. The Carbs are available (with linkage kit) for $300.

Reliable runner with excellent performance for 240z and 260z fans. The car was a manual converted to auto and the new auto transmission has been reconditioned (Dec 2011) however the parts to convert it back inc: 5 speed gear box, drive shaft, lightened flywheel, pedal and clutch are available. The clutch cylinder is in the car – cabletied up. The conversion should take a day - would consider doing it for you at the right price. Car buyer has first option to purchase kit.

Issues with the car & the price reflects these defects. It needs new carpets, has a minor crack in the dashboard and will need to be repainted at some point as there's some bubbling in the paint. Two different panel beaters have concurred it's blistering from sitting in primer for too long. It's noticeable up close but has not gotten any worse in the last three years. Air conditioning needs re-gassing.
