Has been in the family for a long time, over two periods of ownership, aprox 50 years in total. Was driven regularly prior to be putting in garaged storage around 30 years ago. Now up for reluctant sale with a heavy heart due to a move.

Great restoration project. COMPLETE car, mechanically sound
although some work needing to be done to replace the head gasket which will be supplied. I took head gasket off because it had sat for so many years without the motor being run that the valves etc were well stuck. I took the opportunity to remove the head, had a valve grind undertaken and thought I would replace the head gasket while on the job. Now unable to finish the job as no longer in the area. Brakes, king pin and steering have all been completely overhauled. There is also a spare head which will be included in the auction, photos added of the heads, second photo being the spare. Also a brand new heavy duty 6 vault battery will be included.

There is a small spot of rust on the boot and in two places on the running board. Small rust patch on the bottom of the panel adjacent to the bottom edge of the front door. patches of surface rust, mainly on roof where there has been sweating between the cover and the roof. Has not been garaged over past few months.

I have run out of time to complete the overhaul, my loss could be your gain!

The Ambassador cars were sumptuously appointed earning the title of the "Kenosha Duesenbergs" for their quality, durability, styling, and speed of that era. Has a twin ignition motor.

Rare opportunity to purchase a car such as this. Please phone to view..........021 02294184......you will not be disappointed!

Just listed a 1950's Landrover....do check that out too!!!
