Porsche Other 912 1966
$11,500
Description
This is a Porsche 912 from 1966. Its is an identical body to the same era 911 and is commonly transplanted with a 911 engine and built into a hotrod. That’s what I was going to do but my plans have changed. If you are looking for an early 911/912, this is your opportunity to buy a project for a price that wont break the bank or cause a divorce!
As stated, this is a project and will require new floors, lower A pillars including the scuttle, outer sills and work done to the rear torsion area. Its not hard work to complete and provides the opportunity to build a rat rod 911, it would certainly be a car that would get looks!
I am including various sheets metal and patch panels to get you underway. These include a complete rear quarter, bottoms of the C pillars corners, a mint drivers door and other bits.
The car also has a complete with interior (apart from a couple of carpet pieces) and actually has two lots of doors cards, rear quarters and other misc interior parts. The headliner is very nice and sun visors are mint.
The glass is all present and in very good condition, there is a box of headlight parts included, all indicators and horn grills are there and all the chrome trim excluding the bumper trim is included.
This car is REGO ON HOLD so there will be no hassles getting re-registered once the welding is completed. Its been in NZ since 1973. The car does not come with an engine but does have the original gearbox. It rolls freely but will need to be trailered when removed. Removal needs to be completed by the 18th January at the latest.
This is an opportunity to get in the game for a minimal outlay, the prices of early 911s have gone nuts and many believe they will continue to climb.
