TIDY CAR, HIGH PRESSURE TURBO 16 VALVE.
TOP IN GREAT CONDITION, NZ SERVICE HISTORY, THOUSANDS SPENT, CRUISE CONTROL, ALL NEW SHOCKS FITTED, HEATED SEATS, LEATHER TRIM, ELECTRIC HOOD. CENTRAL LOCKING.
We have owned this lovely SAAB for a little over 3 years. Reluctant sale, we now have a new SAAB and 'Cherry' must go. Drives very well. The high pressure turbo produces amazing smoothness and economy. Good engine and turbo. All receipts for service work carried out.
Body is clean and in good condition, no dings and not rusty.
Roof operates with no problems and is in great condition, having been treated with Auto Glym protectant.
We have upgraded the shock absorbers with new KYB shocks and renewed suspension bushes, since we have owned her.
There is a very slight leak from the auto pan gasket. It probably was not renewed when the transmission was last serviced. This is not a problem and can be easily fixed at the next oil change. There is a very slight leak from the distributor gasket. These are very easily and cheaply fixed.
The leather seat stitching on the passenger seat pad has come undone. It can be easily restiched, and there is a small hole/ tear in the seat leather. Same with some of the stitching on the driver seat. All easily fixable - see photos. The dash is slightly cracked, which is a common problem with SAAB 900's. We have a good reconditioned replacement, given to us by the previous owner, which we will include with the sale if you like.
There is air-conditioning fitted it is presently disconnected. The previous owner said it worked. I have not needed it as with the windows down and roof up, it is surprisingly cool.
Oh and the alarm siren has been broken and needs replacing, presently it makes about a quarter of the noise is should. Comes with 2 remote locking key fobs.
