Toyota Hilux 4WD 1987

For sale is my Hilux Ute. I've owned this for about 16 months but found I hardly ever used it for 4 wheel driving and have recently upgraded to a more comfortable Commodore Ute. My original plan was to hang on to this Ute for a long time and semi restore her so I've spent quite a lot of money on her as follows -

• A brand new cylinder head (professionally fitted - I have the receipt for over $ 2000.00) and done at the same time were 2 new drive belts + new thermostat + head gasket + new radiator hose + 1 wheel bearing kit.
• Suspension work involving brand new leaf springs and bushes throughout (professionally fitted by Bellamy & East - I have the receipt for $ 1490.00)
• Had a small amount of rust repaired in the right "A" pillar (this was mainly as a preventative measure for future WOF's
• A second hand (but good condition) Radiator fitted.
• Carbie professionally reconditioned (I have the receipt).

Smaller things done are -

• Oil & Filter changes
• Air Filter replaced
• New Spark plugs
• New HT leads
• New Ignition HT lead
• New Distributor Cap
• New Ignition Coil + Lead
• New Fuel Filter
• New Battery -Transmission Oil replaced
• Diff Oils replaced
• New Points

Also, I've just had the front seat re-upholstered.

On the slightly negative side, there is some drivetrain lash when starting off and sometimes the timing misses slightly. My next project was to fit electronic ignition which is about $ 300.00 to do and easy to fit I believe and I'm told it would really make the motor. The drivetrain lash could be fixed fairly easily as well I believe if it annoyed. As you can see in the photos there is some rust coming through on the back deck by the wheel arches but its not major.

This vehicle also comes with a Canopy and a basic workshop manual. I also have unopened matching white paint in a spray can and a tin can for small touchups.
