This little car has been the ideal vehicle to use while I was in the North Island. I picked it up in October and it has been all over the bottom of the North Island and never missed a beat.

Has power steering, cv joints do not click. She just zips along happily. I was aware I was buying right at the bottom of the market and was risking some dollars when I bought it. But this was preferable to hitchhiking around. The first car I tried to buy (see my feedback) wasn't warranted as advertised. This was the plan B option and I am really glad I got lucky.

She is showing (interior and exterior) every bit of her 20 years of age and 300K on the dial. The seats are stained, and one has a rip (front driver seat). The front has no carpet, there is a window winder missing off the front passenger door. Outside the car is white, bar one red hatch door and a different red back passenger door. Every panel has a few marks, and/or paint chips. Central locking only works on front two doors.

So.... she isn't pretty. If you are wanting a car to pull up to the supermarket in and impress strangers with.... this isn't for you.

Despite her looks, the car runs like a dream. Starts every time. Once I left the headlights on for two hours while visiting friends in Taupo and she fired up easily and I was sure the battery would have been flat. IT IS 'AS CHEAP AS CHIPS' to run, very economical with petrol!!

If I was staying in the North Island I would keep it. But I fly out of Welly for home (Otago) and no longer need it.
