This is a great example of the Hilux, in great condition for it’s age and has a promising future ahead due to the regular maintenance it has had.
I have owned it for the past 4 years and it has been serviced well in that time. At the start of this year it was fitted with new all-terrain tyres, radiator, thermostat, air filter housing, battery, and fresh driveline fluids, also had a compression test carried out where the results were fine. The engine was stripped down and rebuilt at 220,000km when it received a new cylinder head, head gasket, turbo, clutch and solid mass flywheel.
As far as I am aware this is one of the very few Hilux’s that hasn’t been pushed to it’s limits off-road where it is extremely capable, as a consequence the driveline is still in great condition.
