After years of blood, sweat, tears and dollars my Herald is up for sale.
I have loved doing this car but a new opportunity has arose and I need space, unfortunatley I don't have the space for 2 in my shed.
Rego is on hold till October.
Since purchasing 18 months ago I have kept a full journal and reciepts of all the work done - totals about $7k +
Full re-spray in Toyota Super Red - looks fantastic $2000
Mini-Lite wheels from Palmside $1000
Full re-wire, all safety fused with a conversion to a brand new alternator and new battery $1500
New front discs, pads and wheel bearings. New rear shoes.
Full overhaul of ignition system. Radiator re-cored, water pump, temostat, housing etc all replaced.
Tears to interior seats all re-upholstered. New Securon seatbelts (drivers side still needs a fixing plate). New chrome bullet mirrors and wiper blades.
Far to many other jobs to list but I have it all documented and reciepted.
Everything works exactly how it should, runs really well.
Box full of spares.
Cheap as rego.
Final jobs needed are a new hood to finish it off. (A small weld in the boot area. New seatbelt fixing plate bolted in and thats all it needs for a WOF, i took to my local garage recently)
Have an original owners handbook, haynes manual and restoration manual.
